The Garrett Paragon is an advanced walk-through metal detector that combines refined design with industry-leading detection performance. Built for high-traffic security environments, the Paragon delivers enhanced sensitivity, superior discrimination, and intelligent screening capabilities for faster, more accurate personnel checks.

Featuring a bright LED display and highly visible zone light arrays on both sides, the Paragon ensures clear visual indication of detected items, even in direct sunlight. Its advanced 66 zone detection architecture, Auto Setup functionality, and tamper-proof circuitry provide exceptional precision, reliability, and ease of operation.

Designed for Faster, Smarter Screening

Designed with user efficiency in mind, the Paragon includes an intuitive menu system that simplifies configuration and day-to-day operation. A built-in 1.5 amp-hour backup battery also provides continued protection during power interruptions or accidental AC disconnection, ensuring uninterrupted security screening when it matters most.

The Garrett Paragon also integrates with our Spectrum X-ray machines, helping operators quickly identify where alerted items have been detected on the body for faster, more efficient screening.

66-Zone Precision

The Paragon’s industry-leading sixty-six zones provide precise location of one or more objects simultaneously.

More Accurate Pinpointing

With more detection zones than any model on the competitive market, the Paragon provides uniform detection and precise pinpointing using independent zone indicators. Lights on both side panels identify not only height but also left, center, and right locations for one or more objects passing through the archway.

Chip Card Capability

NFC (near field communication) card reader allows for adjusting settings of the walkthrough without mechanical

insertion of a card. Less wear on parts with fewer card replacements.

Bluetooth® Capability

Paragon comes equipped with Bluetooth connectivity for wireless communication with other devices.

Adaptive Environmental Interference Cancellation Similar to popular noise canceling headphones, Paragon cancels out electromagnetic interferences and mechanical vibration from the environment.

IP65 Standard

Protects from water and dust ingress into any electronics compartment and provides protection from rain and dust for outdoor operation or storage.

OLED Graphic Display

Allows the use of imagery on the walkthrough menu display.
